Community Organizations & Clubs

The community of Eagle Bend offers a wide range of organizations that any area person is welcome to become a member of.  These organizations are always looking for dedicated and hard working volunteers. 

Eagle Bend Area Development Corporation

This organization is a group of business persons and community members who volunteer a great deal of time for the betterment of the community of Eagle Bend.  Some of the projects this group has been involved in and developed are the Eagle Bend Library/Museum, the Community Greeter, The City Logo, The Revolving Loan Fund, and currently  working on the Nelson Park Project.

Lions Club

The Lions Club is a non-profit organization that was started for the betterment of the seeing impaired. This organization works hard to promote and donate time and funds to help the Lions International Club and the community.  The Lions are a key part of our community summer festival which hosts a majority of events and fun packed into one day.  For more information about the summer festival see events.

Petal Pushers

This club is for anyone interested in gardening and community beautification.

Eagle Bend Historical Society

This group is responsible for the Musuem located in the Community Library.

Regular Meetings held April through October on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

Senior Citizens Center

The Senior Citizen's Center provides a place for all seniors to go and visit.  This is a self supporting group that does many different activities.  Every year they have several events going on. 

Some of the fundraisers they plan for are the St.Patrick's Day Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale.  Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast is held each year.  During the summer celebration for Eagle Bend they host an Ice Cream Social.  Each December the first Saturday is the Annual Bazaar.

 

Anyone is welcome to come and the Seniors will be happy to share information with you about their center.
