It's that time of year again. The warmer weather brings door to door salesmen. Next time they come to your door ask them for their City of Eagle Bend solicitor's license. It's in our ordinances.

320.02 License Required. No peddler, hauler, or transient merchant of merchandise without
having been requested or invited to do so by the owner or owners, occupant or occupants shall enter
a private residence of the City for the purpose of or for the purpose of disposing of or peddling or
hauling of goods, wares, and merchandise without first obtaining a license.
320.03 Application. Before any license shall be issued to any person to vend, sell, hawk, or peddle
goods, the person desiring such license shall file a written application with the Clerk-
Treasurer/Administrator.
